Uconn just simply played harder. It was a very uncharacteristic and kind of horrible game with the poor shooting especially for butler. Uconn's big men played very well. They didn't allow any points in the paint in the first half and just dominated the boards. Alex Oriaki lead all the big men with 11 points and 11 rebounds. Kemba Walker lead all scorers with 16 points and 9 rebounds. This made Coach Jim Calhoun's 3rd championship and his first one since '04, with this up and down season from him on and off the court him and his team caped it off in a great way. Butler just didn't shoot well and every single shot was contested by Uconn.
