Jeff Fisher out as Head Coach of the Tennessee Titans

Jeff Fisher will not be the head coach of the Titans anymore. On Thursday Coach Fisher and Titans owner Bud Adams decided to part ways. Fisher was the longest tenure head coach in the league, he just completed his 16th year as head coach of the titans.

Micheal Vick Comeback Player of the Year

On Wednesday Micheal Vick was named the NFL Comeback Player of the Year. That really wasn't a surprise to anyone this season after he lead his Philadelphia Eagles team to a great season. Vick lead the Eagles to a 10-6 record and the NFC east title and they playoffs where they lost to the Green Bay Packers.  Vick earned 431 of 591 total balloting from NFL players, coaches and executives. Vick finished the season with  21 touchdown passes, six interceptions, nine rushing TDs and a passer rating of 100.2.  Andy Reid and the Eagles offensive staff did a great job on Micheal. Vick served federal jail time in 2007 and 2008 for dogfighting

Cam Newton going to the NFL

Cam Newton will forgo his senior year at Auburn and run right into the NFL. In his lone year at Auburn he won the Heisman trophy and he lead his team to a 14-0 season which took them all the way to the BCS National championship game which the tigers won. Cam is expected to work on some different aspects of his game to become a complete NFL quarterback but still is expected to be a high draft pick. On the field, Newton rushed for 1,473 yards and 20 touchdowns while passing for 2,854 yards and 30 TDs.

Rivera To Coach Panthers



Ron Rivera finally got hired as a head coach. Rivera was hired today to be the head coach of the Carolina Panthers. He Interviewed 9 times for different head coaching positions but he finally got one. Rivera was the defensive coordinator for the Chicago Bears for the 2006 NFC championship team and Lead the top ranked defense for the San Diego Chargers this past year. This guy is definitely a good coach who left his mark on any team he has been with so he will definitely do a good job in Carolina. He joins Tom Flores as the second Hispanic head coach in the NFL.

Matt Schaub, Houston Texans- Peyton Manning is too obvious, so let's start with Schaub. He doesn't have a big arm or fast feet, so he has used his timing and intelligence to become a 4,000-yard passer.

2.DE
Elvis Dumervil, Denver Broncos- Under six feet tall and not that fast—but still a dominating pass rusher. He's like a boxer who doesn't have a great punch but still knocks guys out because he knows how to set up his opponent. Also, he can think on the move, get his brain to quickly tell his feet what to do. That's very hard, even for NFL athletes.

Change is coming....to the NFL

The internet is heating up with the alleged designs of new NFL jerseys. So we're going to fan the flames.

Nike, as you may have heard, has won the contract to provide NFL uniforms beginning in 2012. Nike management has already said they plan on changing the look of NFL uniforms "dramatically" like they have with college jerseys. Perhaps the most conspicious example of a radically modernized Nike uniform is that of the Oregon Ducks who now have 5 different uniform combinations (see image). Will Nike be making similar style changes to the NFL jerseys? Well, who knows.

But what we do know is that an image has been floating around that is alleged to be a potential new Bills uniform design. And well, it is similar to what Nike did to the Oregon jersey. It's more modern and more something. . . .

Nnamdi Asomugha is now a Free Agent???

What are the Raiders thinking?  First they fire the first decent coach they have had in a long time then this. But it is the Raiders. Their pro bowl corner back Nnamdi Asomugha's contract has been voided because of some language in his contract. His contract included some not likely to reach goals and he definitely didn't reach those goals like the number of snaps he played. So now he becomes the first premier free agent for the 2011 off season. He is also the best man to man cornerback in the league. So do i hear the Houston Texans calling?



NFL Playoffs Predictions

New York Jets vs. Indianapolis Colts  = NY Jets, it will be tough but the jets should win this one

Baltimore Ravens vs. Kansas City Chiefs =  Ravens, Nice run KC but its over th

New Orleans Saints vs. Seattle Seahawks = Saints, I dont even know how the Seahawks even made it??

Green Bay Packers vs. Philadelphia Eagles = This will be the most interesting game for the wildcard weekend but it will be the Packers

Jason Garrett officially Head Coach of the Dallas Cowboys!!!

Congrats!!! Jason Garret officially in as head coach of the Dallas Cowboys . Jerry Jones made it official today hiring jason as head coach today. Jason took over the team during the last half of the season and went 5-3 after they went 1-7 during the frist 8 games. When he was hired he hit the ground running and beating the NY Giants in his first game as interm head coach for the Cowboys. I think he is the right guy for the job. It was hard to see my favorite team go through this past season. Congrats Jason Garrett lets make the playoffs next season.

VY OUT for the Tennasse Titans

Yesterday Jay Glazer reported that Vince Young will not be back for the titans next season. He will either be released or traded. Now Vince has a chance to mature and grow as a QB and a person. New teams for Vince might be San Fransisco, Miami, Arizona maybe???
