AFC Championship Game Predictions

6:30 PM ET, January 23, 2011 Heinz Field, Pittsburgh, PA

Jets vs. Steelers. This is the second year in a row that the Jets made it to the AFC championship game and the third time in a row for their coach Rex Ryan. The Steal Curtain defense with one of the best safeties in the game and a QB becoming elite with two SB rings already under his belt. Can you paint a better picture?? So this game is very interesting. Both have a mutual respect for each other and the Jets beat the Steelers in week 17 by 1 in Pittsburgh (without troy). So familiarity bring confidence, right? Maybe QB Sanchez has been playing good and the offense have been clicking this playoffs and the defence played a emotional game last week vs. the patriots. Hope they didn't leave it all in New England. This game is going to come down to the Jets D shutting down Big Ben and not letting him get any throws off to his WRs Hines and Mike "Big Play" Wallace. The Steelers D has to make Mark Sanchez look like a rookie fresh out of USC in order to win this game. But ill have to go with  J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS in a upset by 1

NFC Championship Game Predictions

                                                          3:00 PM ET, January 23, 2011
                                                            Soldier Field, Chicago, IL

OK so this game is for the Big Show. Two of the oldest rivals in the league playing for the NFC championship and a trip to the super bowl. This game is going to come down to the two defences vs. the QB in the game. Which ever defence could shut down the opposing QB then that team should win the game. But its not going to be that simple. Some definite X-factors in this game will be Green bay's running game which will definitely be in point today and Devin "Mama there go that man again" Hester. This should be a great defensive game. I see the Packers beating the bears by 4

Who is the best safety in Football??

So with this weekend's playoff games coming on and with the Ravens and the Steelers about to go toe to tow with each other. A great question popped up in my head. Which safety is the best safety in the NFL and which one would you draft first??? Troy Polumalu vs. Ed Reed??

NFC Divisional Round Predictions

                                                          SEAHAWKS VS. BEARS
                                                  1/16/11 Soldier Field, 1 p.m. ET, FOX
Ok so am I the only person that is thinking how did the Seahawks make it this far?  Ok so they did beat the defending champions’ Saints. Marshawn Lynch did pull one of the best playoff running plays ever that literally made a small earthquake  at that stadium, and their defense was great at shutting down Drew Brees for part of the game  but…..WE DON’T BELIEVE YOU!!! Part of me is nervous because the beat the Saints but that’s just a little part of me. Da Bears defense is much too good and that Bears offense wasn’t the same offense that played Seattle in week 6. So just like in the picture Da Bears run away with this one. Bears by 10

PACKERS VS. FALCONS
1/15/11 Georgia Dome, 8 p.m. ET, FOX

This should be another good game. Outside of the Ravens vs. Steelers game this is the next best game of the playoffs. I think this will be a good defensive game and low scoring. The big main factor is going to be which quarter back plays the best and doesn’t make any mistakes or the fewest mistakes. Will it be Matty Ice the kid who was destined to play in the league and who has won all his games at home except for 1 or will it be Aaron Rodgers the guy who took the torch from Favre and ran with it and it leading the packers to a great season with many of their offensive starters injured? Pack by 3

AFC Divisional Round predictions

                                                         STEELERS VS. RAVENS
                                                 1/15/11 Heinz Field, 4:30 p.m. ET, CBS
Out of all of the games that are going to happen this week this one should be the most stalemate type of game. Both teams have championship caliber defenses and very firm offenses that could go up against any defense. I think the determining factor that is going to win the game is going to be which team can run the ball better against stubborn defenses. I think the steelers will be the better team steelers by 3.

JETS VS. PATRIOTS
                                          1/16/11 Gillette Stadium, 4:30 p.m. ET, CBS
This should be a good game. I am concerned about some different factors in this game though.  Like what the hell was Antonio Cromartie thinking when he said “F@#$ Brady, Brady is a A$$” comment? Someone should have hemmed him up and told him to shut up and remember the name of all your kids. Even though cromartie’s loose mouth I think the jets defense is a very solid D and they could hold their own again any team but they did go to the last minute to beat the colts. Tom Brady is too clever and doesn’t care about challenging Revis Island and talk too much cromartie. It will be the patriot offense that will win this game Pats by 7.
